Ruby Red Spicy Tuna with Crispy Rice


  • 1 Package Ruby Red Ground Tuna

  • 2 Cups Rice

  • 2 Cups Water

  • 4 TB Canola Oil

  • 1 TB Sesame Oil

  • 1/4 Cup Rice Vinegar

  • 4 tbs Sugar

  • 3 TB Kewpie Mayonnaise

  • 2 TB Sriracha Hot Sauce

  • 1 Jalapeno

  • 3 Scallions

  • Cooking time: 30Min   Servings: 6



1- Cook rice. Mix rice vinegar and sugar, heat until sugar is dissolved, and set aside to cool. Season cooked rice with rice vinegar and sugar mixture. Set aside to cool, warm, or room temperature is best.




2- Form rice into bite-size portions and press firmly so that portions stay intact during frying


3- Fry portioned rice until lightly brown on both sides, and set aside on a wire rack or paper towel to drain extra oil.


4- Mix 3 TB Kewpie mayonnaise and 2TB Sriracha hot sauce for spicy mayonnaise.



5- Mix ground tuna with 5TB Spicy Mayonaise.





6- Put spicy tuna on crispy rice with generous portions and garnish with sliced scallions and jalapenos.
