Ruby Red Mini Tuna Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 Package Ruby Red Ground Tuna
  • 1/2 Cup Panko Bread Crumb
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/2 Head of Cabbage
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 5 TB Sugar or Honey
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 16 Hawaiian Bread Rolls/Mini Burger Buns
  • 7 tsp Salt
  • 4 tsp Pepper
  • 5 TB Spicy Mayonnaise
  • 5 TB Canola Oil
  • 2 TB Mayonnaise

Directions:

1- Add 1/2 head sliced cabbage and 1 carrot julienned with 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 5 TB sugar/honey, and 3 tsp salt.

Mix and set aside.

 

2- In a new mixing bowl combine 1 package Ruby Red Ground Tuna with 3 tsp salt, 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs, 1/2 diced onion, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. 

 

3- Mix and form into burger patties using a ring mold the size of your bread.

 

4- Slice other half of onion. In small saucepan caramelize onions wit 1 TB Canola OIl, 1 tsp salt.

 

 

5- Heat canola oil in a pan and cook tuna patties 1 min 30 sec each side or until desired temperature.

 

 

 

6- Spread 2 TB mayonnaise on inside of bread buns and toast until golden brown.

 

 

7- Spread spicy mayonnaise on burger bread bottoms and assemble burgers.
